2024 GRANVILLE COUNTY GOLF TOURNAMENT RESULTS

On May 16, 2024, the Granville County Crimestoppers held their 6^th Annual Golf Tournament at  South Granville Country Club in Creedmoor. Twelve (12) corporate sponsors, seventy (70) hole sponsors, and twenty-four (24) golf teams (see granvillecountynccrimestoppers.org for a complete listing) participated in this annual fundraiser.

The winners for the 8 am tee times were: First Place-Mize Gravel Team: Second Place-CertainTeed Team; Third Place-SGCC, The Relics Team.

Chick-Fil-A of Henderson provided lunch, Hawthorne Residential Partners provided the gift bags, along with contributions from Granville County Crimestoppers and Jersey Mike’s of Oxford. South Granville Country Club staff provided a well-prepared golf course, and volunteers from Families Living Violence Free and Crimestoppers assisted Cindy Smith and Jessica Laws, our golf event chairmen, with preparing for and organizing the event.  South Granville Country Club Gift Certificates were awarded to all the winners.

As our only fundraiser of the year, the tournament enables Granville County Crimestoppers to carry out our mission of: assisting law enforcement in solving crimes by offering anonymous rewards; raising awareness of criminal activity; recognizing and supporting our law enforcement personnel and promoting cooperation among Granville County citizens, the media, and our law enforcement personnel.
