What information is needed in a tip?
Did you see the crime happen? Do you know the name of the person? Do you know what the person looks like? What is their color of hair and eyes, height, weight, or age? Where does this person live or hang out? Where and when did you last see this person? Do you know who their friends are? Did you see a car used at the crime scene? Can you describe the car? Did you get the License plate number? Do you know the color or model of the car? Did you see any visible damage to the car?
